Design Pricing Options
As architectural designers, we offer a range of architectural design services. From initial ideation and renders to detailed drawings and planning packages.
We have a licensed installer in the UK (Your Space Cabins) who can provide an indicative quote for construction from the initial design stage. Our Selected Works page gives a good indication of overall project costs across a variety of projects.

This is your minimum commitment. Post an initial call, we will visit the site, with our build partner and review the proposed location, understand whether any clearance or removal of exisitng structures are required. With a week, we will present a series of deisgn renders and basic layouts from which we can produce an indictive constrution cost.
EXAMPLE

Showing the exact dimensions and positions of all fixtures, including electrical plans. This document will reflect, in detail, each of the line items on the quotation and will act as the commited design framework. Priced from £1200 to £1800 depending on project size and scope.

Design pack required for planning permission. To include all relevant information to the scale the planning department require. Invoiced prior to the planning application.

These will be required in the event of building control reuirement. This document will include technical and engineering calculations including those for the foundations and base.

You will have carpentry skills or access to a good contractor. You will recieve a full pack of drawings that will enable you to build your cabin. These drawings include a break down of the bill of materials, so that you can see exactly what needs to be ordered. This price includes on-line and phone support.
Prices inclusive of VAT, Price ranges based on building size
For self builders or contractors outside of the UK outside of the UK, we can offer a specialise design pack that included a full Bill of Materials. (Option E below)
We offer a video survey and design development for non-UK clients.
The minimum design fee paid by clients is £1,500 (A+B below), this includes all design iterations. Design packs C and D are likely to be required for larger and more complex projects such as rental cabins, commercial buildings or projects in sensitive areas (E.g AONB).
Process
1. Initial discussion
Together, we outline the brief and establish your budget. Discuss the various design packages (see above) that are suitable for the project as well as understanding whether there are any planning obligations.
2. On-site survey
Meet both our design lead as well as our construction partner, discuss the site, the access, the use case and some design ideas. We will send you initial renders and layouts, with indicative construction cost.
3. Detail design stage
Choose one of our design packages depending on weather planning and building control is required. Formalise a quote with our licensed install partner. No design package is paid until the build quote and go-ahead are agreed
4.Deposit paid
Commitment and invoicing issued for of design fee and the 50% construction deposit. A 40% invoice is issed bby our construction partner one week prior to start date, with the final balance paid on completion.
